Uzbekistan plans to put state stakes in 84 enterprises, 1,242 real estate properties and about 8,000 hectares of land up for auction in 2026-2027. According to the Agency for the Management of State Assets, the combined value of the assets is estimated at around 100 trillion soums.

The Agency for the Management of State Assets and DEİK signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of privatisation. As one of the first steps in implementing the agreements, the parties proposed holding a dedicated panel session for Turkish investors in December 2026. The session is intended to present prospective assets, discuss the terms for taking part in privatisation and arrange talks between potential investors and agency representatives.

During the meeting, Murodov outlined the main directions of the privatisation programme and the conditions for acquiring state assets set out in Uzbekistan presidential decree No. UP-177. Investors are offered a 25% discount if they make full payment within six months.

The terms also include interest-free instalments for up to seven years. Reconstruction of acquired properties may begin after at least half of their value has been paid. The agency said Turkish entrepreneurs have purchased more than 30 state assets in Uzbekistan in recent years, with a total value of about $366 million. It expects broader cooperation with DEİK to support Turkish business participation in privatisation, enterprise modernisation and the creation of new production capacity.
